Chelsea holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of British Columbia and a Master of Science in School and Applied Child Psychology from the University of Calgary. Her training provided extensive experience in psychological assessment, consultation, and support for children, adolescents, and families with diverse learning, developmental, and emotional needs.

Chelsea has completed specialized training in autism assessment using gold-standard diagnostic tools and is committed to continually refining her skills through ongoing consultation and professional development. She also pursues advanced training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and other therapeutic approaches to better support children and adolescents experiencing anxiety, emotional regulation challenges, and behavioural concerns. Professional Philosophy

Chelsea believes every child has a unique story, and that understanding how they learn, think, and experience the world is just as important as identifying the challenges they face. She strives to create a warm, compassionate, and judgment-free environment where children feel comfortable being themselves and families feel heard, supported, and understood.

Her approach combines evidence-based assessment with empathy, curiosity, and collaboration. By understanding each child’s individual strengths and needs, Chelsea provides meaningful answers and practical recommendations that help families support their child with confidence. Outside the Office

Outside of work, Chelsea enjoys hiking, snowboarding, camping, travelling, and exploring new places with friends and family. Staying active and spending time outdoors help her stay grounded and bring balance to her work.

Counselling: I use a gentle and compassionate approach when I work with families supporting their child’s unique learning and behavioural needs. We will work together to understand your values and goals as a family and develop plans to help your child thrive. I believe it is important to focus on step-wise, sustainable changes that feel manageable for you and your family. My approach is strengths-based.

I support families by using cognitive and behavioural strategies to help children develop healthy routines and build new skills.  Study Strategies: I also coach postsecondary students as they develop reading, writing, study and organizational skills.
